Texas’s capitol, in Austin, was the tenth capitol I photographed, and is probably #1 on my “must return” list, as I took these photos when I was still very much a photography beginner. The Texas capitol building is the largest capitol in the country, dwarfing even the US Capitol in DC. The pink granite construction gives it its unique color. There’s a large extension that stretches out underground behind the capitol; the first photo, of the woman in a purple dress, was taken at ground level looking down into its atrium. These photos were all taken in October of 2012.
